I don't recall seeing any reviews for this yet so...
The concert started around..7:00
It began with a movie. There was an old man, and two young boys led him through a field to a row of five white crosses/graves. Then the boys ran away. The man looked down at the grave, and said something like お久しぶりだね。元気だったか。(It's been awhile, hasn't it? Have you been well?) Then I believe he knelt down, and in his hand held a picture of Gackt with all his bandmates, smiling happily. He set the picture in front of the grave, which is Gackt's. The death date (there is no day, only a year) reads 2007 (I don't remember the birth year). (This scared me a bit, why did Gackt have them use the year 2007 on his grave in this movie?) The man stood and looked down at the grave. He asked something to the effect of 覚えてるか。全部? (Do you remember? All of it?) I think this is when we really get a close up of the grave. Then the movie ends.
After the movie the stage lit up and we saw Gackt with two others sitting on a platform, wearing white and purple trimmed(?) yukata's, and they immidetly started playing a Japanese insturment. I forgot the name of it, I'll have to check and write it here later, but it's a string insturment that you pluck. Gackt must have just recently learned how to play, but I wouldn't have been able to tell, it was amazing! After that, the Gackt songs themselves began.
First was Oasis. Instead of the desert clothes from before, he wore the yukata he's started the concert in. Still did the same dance though.
After that was Secret Garden (okay lemme pause here to say I don't quite remember all the songs/order so I might get things mixed up). For this he'd changed into a black suit, and there was no dancing/acting, just beautiful singing. He had a mask on his shoulder with the hair spilling down his arm, it was interesting.
Then came Luna, wow, what a preformance. Lots of dancing with professional dancers all over the stage, they had a sort of sword dance/fight. Jumping and spinning and slashing, and at a small pause in the song Gackt suddenly dissappeared. Then he jumped back onto the stage from a hole in the stage, wearing the mask. After awhile he threw it off. I really like Luna, and I really enjoyed the live!
Then I think they played Mizerable, which started with flames bursting up from the front of the stang and blinding the entire audiance. Fun stuff. This song was a struggle between watching Gackt sing and watching You play violin, oh what a beautiful struggle it was.
After that was..seki ray, I think. It was much the same as always, with snow falling at the end. It really is such a pretty song.
Then I think he played Last Song, which was the Seventh Night version. It was just Gackt and a piano, and it was really moving. I think the entire hall fell quiet for this song. Watching Gackt play piano was amazing.
Then was maybe 君が追いかけた夢
Er..Papa lapped a pap lopped came in ther somewhere as well.
Perhapes this is where the next movie came in. This was pure fun. It starts with the band members running through halls, their body guards trying to push the camera away from them. They run down stairs to their dressing room, then things arn't so hectic. They sit down relaxing, and there's a knock at the door. There was a delivery or something for Gackt? I don't remember, but Gackt got all quiet and polite, like the typical Japanese person is suppose to be. Then um..oh everyone was fixing there hair and stuff, trying to look good for the concert. So we got a shot of each of them in turn, and last was Gackt who was wearing this funny looking wig and making faces or something. Then we go back to other members, then back to Gackt who's flipping us the bird and in a fake screaming voice saying f--- yooooou!! Then we switch back to just everyone. Then a new delivery comes and it's for one of the new members, whose name I forgot. Anyway it was a box of the long, thin strips of metal that you shake back and forth to work on arm muscles (I think...). He started shaking it, and it makes a noise. And then the other new member asked if he could do it to, and he said yes, so then they were both doing it. THen You got up and asked, and he said yes to You too, so he started doing it (with a goofy smile if I remember correctly XD) and then suddenly the shot changes and we see everyone doing it, and Gackt is going super fast and it's just funny looking. Then we skip forward to everyone running down the hall towards the concert. We only see them step off the stairs, then run our of the camera shot, one by one. But Gackt is not there on que, so the staff calls for him for a bit, and then he comes down in boxing gear and jumps around boxing, and then punches himself and falls over. Then I think we go to one of the kitties from U+K, dancing around and being silly. Then Gackt talks to the kitty, and it's trying to tell him something but he isn't really listening. I think that's about where the movie ended.
Then we got to have the members introduced, for some strange reason in English. They all had glorifying intros, mainly about how skilled they all are at the insturment they play, but then for You the guy introducing said something to the effect of "And now, for the man that swoons all the ladies and makes them beg for more!" XD Then it was "The man that needs no introduction. Do you want him?" Then Gackt came out and the concert resumed.
I think they started with Mirror, which had no violin, twas the newest version. That made me sad, but then Gackt danced and made up for it ^.^.
He also played Another World at some point~
Not long after the movie, there was another break, and Gackt spoke to the crowd. I remember him talking about how hot Nagouya is for quite awhile. Oh and at some point he also came out with water bottles and sprayed some water on the crowd, then chucked the bottles into the crowd. The last bottle he drank some and then spit it out towards the crowd, I found it rather silly. Then he talked about a staff member of his whose wife is pregnaunt and due at any time (how exciting!) and it turned out it was that man's birthday! So Gackt made him come out, and he was all embarassed and hardly even looked at the crowd. Gackt drank and then sprayed/spit water onto his staff members face too! It was surprising and funny to everyone. Then Gackt sang happy birthday to him, which had to have been the sexiest Happy Birthday I've ever heard. Then Gackt said the name he'd pick for the guys baby would be Naruto. Silly Gakuto~ After that was back to the music.
They SO played Vanilla. Gackt did a lot of falling on his knees and...dancing...and Chacha did the booty shake the whole time! SO cute, Chacha is just adorable and always smiling. Anyway, no one got attacked. I think it would have been fun of Gackt had gone after You, but none of that happened. Maybe that's their way of showing they still respect Masa and he's irreplacable? It's a good thought!
U+K was also preformed. Yay for the kitties! There were new cats, including a green one and a blue one. They did a flip! How you can flip in one of those costumes is beyond me~ but anyway that song was great!
Well...I know I'm missing some songs...dang me...
The last song was 君のためにできること, and they had the silvery streamers shoot out. Before this song he told us that he would be with us (and us with him) and we'd all move forward (in our lives) together. During the song Gackt would reach his hand out into the air, and we'd do the same, so it was like we were touching hands, in a sense.
The encore was Story, and for this Gackt wore a white, long, jacket-type thing, with white pants underneath.
I think the last movie was after the encore. We see the man in front of Gackt's grave again. He leaves and we see the picture he left for Gackt. Then Gackt himself comes, but he's transparent and you can't really see his face. He looks down at his own grave, and I don't think he said any words. Then another figure (You) steps up beside him and looks down at the graves as well. They said something like "Well, shall we go then?" and both turned around. THe other band members were behind them (not in front since they turned around) and they all walk towards the sun together.
Then, sadly, the concert was over.
I'm sorry if this review ends up being off, and sorry for not remembering all of the songs. It all happened so fast, but I left feeling very fulfilled. It's definatly a concert you'll want to see once the DVD is released!
